The Future of Sleep: 3D Air Fiber Mattress Collection

The Air Fiber mattress represents a revolutionary departure from traditional foam and spring bedding. Utilizing advanced POE (Polyolefin Elastomer) or TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) technology, air fiber is created by extruding food-grade polymers into a 3D woven structure through a specialized water-cooling process. The result is a mattress core that is 90% air by volume, providing a level of breathability, hygiene, and ergonomic support that is physically impossible for polyurethane foam to achieve.

In this collection, we feature elite-grade air fiber solutions—ranging from modular triple-core orthopedic designs to specialized medical-grade pressure relief pads. Whether you are an eco-conscious consumer seeking a 100% recyclable bed or a hospitality manager looking for the most “washable” sleep surface on the market, our Air Fiber collection is the pinnacle of modern material science.

1. The Science of 3D Polymer Weaving

Unlike traditional foam, which relies on chemical blowing agents to create air pockets, air fiber is a mechanical structure.

  • 90% Open Air Volume: Because the core is a 3D mesh of polymer filaments, air flows freely in every direction. This eliminates the “heat trap” effect common in memory foam and ensures a neutral sleep microclimate.

  • Hydrophobic Material: The POE/TPE filaments do not absorb moisture. While foam can retain sweat and humidity, air fiber stays dry, preventing the growth of bacteria and mold.

  • Instantaneous Recovery: Air fiber possesses a “high-rebound” characteristic. It provides immediate push-back support, making it significantly easier for sleepers to change positions without feeling “stuck.”

2. Unmatched Hygiene: The Only Fully Washable Mattress

One of the most disruptive features of the air fiber mattress is its ease of maintenance.

  • Water Permeability: You can take the air fiber core into a shower or use a hose to wash it directly. Water passes straight through the mesh, carrying away dust, allergens, and skin cells.

  • Rapid Drying: Because the material does not absorb water, it air-dries in a fraction of the time required for traditional materials.

  • Hypoallergenic Excellence: Air fiber is the gold standard for allergy sufferers. Its structure is naturally inhospitable to dust mites, which require the warm, damp environment found in traditional foam.

3. Orthopedic Zonal Support and Spinal Health

Our air fiber mattresses are engineered with Precision Density Mapping. By varying the thickness and “weaving density” of the polymer filaments, we create targeted support zones:

  1. Head & Neck Zone: Medium density for gentle cervical alignment.

  2. Shoulder Zone: Lower density to allow for comfortable immersion of the deltoids.

  3. Lumbar Zone: Reinforced high-density weaving to prevent the pelvis from sinking, maintaining a neutral spinal “S-curve.”

  4. Lower Extremity Zone: Balanced support to promote blood circulation in the legs and feet.

4. Sustainability and Environmental Responsibility

As a professional manufacturer, we prioritize the lifecycle of our products.

  • 100% Recyclable: Unlike polyurethane foam, which often ends up in landfills, POE and TPE air fibers are 100% recyclable. The material can be melted down and repurposed at the end of its lifespan.

  • Non-Toxic Production: Our air fiber is produced without the use of formaldehyde, glue, or ozone-depleting blowing agents. It is a “clean” manufacturing process that results in a VOC-free sleep environment.

5. Durability and Institutional Performance

Air fiber is incredibly resilient. Through rigorous Rollator testing, our cores have demonstrated:

  • Zero Sagging: Air fiber maintains its structural loft significantly longer than low-density foams.

  • Temperature Stability: Unlike memory foam, which gets harder in the cold and softer in the heat, air fiber maintains a consistent “feel” across all seasons and room temperatures.

  • CFR 1633 Compliance: Our air fiber meets international flammability standards, ensuring safety for both residential and commercial use.

Air fiber feels much more “responsive” and “active.” While memory foam has a slow-sink, “hug” feeling, air fiber provides a buoyant, “floating” sensation. It is much easier to move on and is significantly cooler because of the 90% air volume.

Simply unzip the outer cover (which is machine washable). Take the internal air fiber core to a shower or outdoors and rinse it with cool or lukewarm water. You can use a mild detergent for stains. Shake off the excess water and let it air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.

Yes. In fact, many orthopedic surgeons recommend air fiber because of its consistent support. It provides “point-elastic” relief—it yields only where you press, ensuring the rest of your body stays perfectly aligned.

We recommend caution. Because POE/TPE are thermoplastic elastomers, high heat (typically above 60°C / 140°F) can cause the filaments to soften or lose their shape. If you use a heating pad, ensure it is on a low setting and has an automatic shut-off.

The material cost of food-grade POE/TPE is higher than polyurethane chemicals, and the 3D weaving process requires specialized, high-tech extrusion machinery. However, the lifespan, hygiene benefits, and recyclability provide a much higher long-term value.
